About me...

Personal Profile

Hello, I’m Aisling Hanna, an Advanced Practitioner Speech and Language Therapist based in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. I’m passionate about helping children and young people find their voice and connect with the world around them.

I qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of Ulster, and hold an Advanced Diploma in Education with Distinction in Autistic Spectrum Disorder from Queen’s University Belfast. I am HCPC registered (SL29719) and a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RC0026313).

With extensive experience supporting children and young people up to age 19, I work with a wide range of communication needs including autism, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), learning disability, global developmental delay, cerebral palsy, language delay and late talkers.

My therapy is play-based, interactive, and child-led, always following the child’s interests to make learning fun and meaningful. I believe that everyone can communicate, and I’m passionate about empowering parents and families to support their child’s communication journey every day.

Starting my own practice comes from the simple joy I find in helping each child express themselves — in whatever way is most natural and powerful for them.
